That’s cool
Clubs in the Switzerland-Liechtenstein District have found a cool way to raise money and raise awareness about the dangers of alcohol abuse. It’s so cool, it’s called the Cool-Bar (German or French).
The Bar, which is sponsored by the district foundation, is a vending booth on wheels and can set up at club and community events to sell or even give away non-alcoholic drinks. The foundation has partnered with Sieber Transporte AG to deliver the Cool-Bar to events around the district.

Kiwanis Magazine
Digital and global
Kiwanis magazine is now available worldwide in digital format. In addition to the same content from the printed version, you’ll find videos, audio and links to helpful resources. Try it.

New Graduated Enrollment Fee

A new graduated new-member enrollment fee went into effect April 1, 2010. Clubs no longer pay a flat fee. Instead, the fee is based on the date a new member enters Kiwanis. Here are a few details your club should know:
• The new fee applies to all clubs worldwide.
• Districts will decide whether to implement a similar fee structure.
• Charter members are not affected; the current rate for charter members remains in effect. Members joining a new club after the charter presentation will be charged the new-member fee for an existing club.
View a spreadsheet on the new fee structure.
Contact Member Services at 800-549-2647, ext. 411 (United States and Canada) or 1-317-875-8755, ext 411 (worldwide) for further assistance.

Objects of Kiwanis and Membership

The six Objects of Kiwanis International

Approved by Kiwanis club delegates at the 1924 Convention in Denver, Colorado, the objectives of Kiwanis have remained unchanged throughout the succeeding decades.

To give primacy to the human and spiritual rather than the material values of life.
To encourage the daily living of the Golden Rule in all human relationships.
To promote the adoption and application of higher social, business, and professional standards.
To develop, by precept and example, amore intelligent, aggressive , and serviceable citizenship.
To provide, through Kiwanis clubs, a practical means to form enduring friendships, to render altruistic service, and to build better communities.
To cooperate in creating and maintaining that sound public opinion and high idealism which make possible the increase of righteousness, justice, patriotism, and goodwill.

Membership Interest

Prospective members are invited to join by existing members. The club’s board of directors then reviews membership information for approval. Beyond initial induction fee, members contribute annual dues as determined by the club. Members, on average, invest about six hours a month by participating in meetings, projects, and volunteering in their community.

If you are interested in joining Kiwanis in Beaumont, we invite you to contact one of our officers via our Board of Director’s page or by contacting our membership chairperson by clicking here.

New Kiwanis Website

Welcome to the new home of the Beaumont Kiwanis Club... online!

The new website enables us to have more flexibility in posting information about our meetings and other club activities. It will allow us many more multi-media opportunities and can truly become a information conduit for each of us. Not to mention it is a lot more eye appealing then the old sight and far easier to update.

As you see our officers contact information is located to the right on the page. We have links to our sponsored leadership programs websites and schools. In addition to this there are two videos for both our membership and those interested in joining us. The first video is a marketing video that was featured during last year's Super Bowl by Kiwanis International. The second video is a message from our current Kiwanis International President Paul Palazzolo talking about our focus for the month of May. Enjoy the new site.

WE BUILD!
